The Passive House Centre is a resource for all politicians, urban planners, builders and consultants – the market actors. We offer knowledge, contacts, and we function as the spider in a national network that links the market to research.
But the Passive House Centre is also, of course, a resource for the individual consumer who wants to know more about energy efficient homes and construction of passive houses.
What we do at the Passive House Centre
Reception and exhibition
Consumers and anybody who is active in the building industry are welcome to ask questions, receive information material and look at the exhibitions which feature passive houses.
The exhibition contains both permanent exhibits and temporary demonstrations of material and the technology that is used in passive houses. These include wall elements, windows, ventilation units and energy-efficient white goods.
Information dissemination about passive house technology and the opportunities it offers
We participate in seminars and debates, organise exhibitions and conferences, go out to people and give talks – we do what we can to disseminate knowledge and make people aware of energy efficient construction and passive house technology.
Education
We offer and organise training courses in passive house technology for various target groups in the building industry.
Advice
The Passive House Centre knows a lot about passive house technology and likes answering questions. We also arrange contacts between the market and researchers. The Passive House Centre can also tell you where to go to get help and support in construction with passive house technology.
Collaboration with market actors
Actors and suppliers in the passive house market can meet through the Passive House Centre. The Centre functions as a platform where everything and everybody can meet.
Study visits
The Passive House Centre offers and organises study visits to on-going and completed passive house projects in the Västra Götaland region of Sweden
