Svenska Hus currently owns two-storey apartment houses in Bårslöv, just outside Helsingborg. Svenska Hus is planning new developments and extensions of existing buildings in the area. In partnership with LTH (Lund University, Faculty of Engineering) , among others, these extensions and new developments will take the form of passive houses.The aim is that the passive houses will be built at a low cost per metre of residential floor area. The energy saving which this type of construction generates will then be an additional "bonus" rather than, as is often the case, an investment which will only pay off after a number of years. The architect is Fojab Arkitekter.
