Alingsås - Alingsåshem

Alingsås' municipal housing company, AB Alingsåshem, has built 32 rented apartments at Stadsskogen. Most of these are smaller, open-plan apartments. The design is uncluttered and simple, with long, narrow buildings situated across the contours of the plot, with views of Lake Mjörn. A total of 32 apartments will be housed in buildings with three floors and penthouses, as well as at basement level in one of the buildings on the hillside. All apartments have west-facing balconies or patios overlooking Lake Mjörn.

The houses are built using passive house technology, which make them energy efficient with low energy bills for the tenants.
